Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant chain well known for its precise, high-quality Chinese food. It is most famous for its xiao long bao (steamed soup dumplings), which are all hand made in an open kitchen.
The UK entity opened in London in 2018, with several outlets offering elegant, craft orientated dining.
We visited the Din Tai Fung website to find out if their food was Halal, it stated:
“Are your meats Halal?
Our dishes are made following traditional Din Tai Fung recipes in Taiwan, so they are not Halal.”
