Banning Halal Meat UK
Edited By Staff Writer, Halal Incorp
On Monday 9th June, 2025 a debate took place at the houses of parliament in the UK. The topic being discussed focussed around exploring the issue of banning non stunned meat.
This then essentially relates to Halal meat and Kosher meat which use non stun methods to slaughter animals. However it is important to note around 88% of Halal meat for example is stunned in the UK, so non stunned Halal meat only forms a small portion of slaughtered meat for Halal consumption.
