Our Journey to Halal Chicken
Animal welfare has always been a priority at Honest. We’ve worked closely with our trusted chicken farmer, Stuart (fondly known as Chicken Stu), to obtain halal certification. While the process took longer than anticipated, we’re thrilled with the result.
Halal Chicken Options
Whether you’re craving a succulent halal chicken burger or some juicy halal chicken wings, we’ve got you covered. Our menu features:
- Buffalo Fried Chicken Burger: A spicy, tangy twist on a classic fried chicken burger.
- Pesto Chicken: A lighter option with grilled chicken, bursting with fresh flavours.
- Buffalo Chicken Wings: The perfect shareable side served in small or large portions
- BBQ Chicken Tenders: Only available at some locations, our Fried chicken tenders comes with BBQ mayo and pickles
Quality Assurance
We’re serious about maintaining the integrity of our halal offerings:
- Halal products are stored separately to prevent cross-contamination.
- Our staff use dedicated utensils and gloves when handling halal chicken items.
- Halal fried chicken burgers and wings are cooked in separate fryers.
- Grilled halal chicken breast burgers have a reserved area on the grill, separated by a divider.
Location Note
Our Brixton & Clapham, locations do not serve the Buffalo Chicken Burger and Brixton, Clapham and Old Street don’t sell our Buffalo wings. Our BBQ Chicken Tenders are not served at Borough, Brewer Street, Brighton, Brixton, Cambridge, Camden, Chiswick, Clapham Dalston, Hammersmith, Kings Cross, Meard St, Reading, South Bank, South Kensington, Spitalfields and Waterloo.
