Horse milk, seems something that is quite exotic it is not that common in many cultures. However it is a traditional beverage in some parts of Central Asia, where it is drank fresh as well as in a fermented form (as kumis).
A question that some Muslims ask is whether horse milk is Halal or not & if it is, permissible according to Islamic dietary laws.

Typically some, Islamic scholars agree that horse milk is Halal. There are no direct prohibitions in the Holy Quran or authentic Hadith that do not allow for the consumption of milk from a Halal (lawful) animal.
Since horses themselves are not thought of as impure animals & are sometimes permitted for consumption under certain Islamic schools of thought, their milk is also regarded as ok for consumption.
The Hanafi school of Islamic jurisprudence typically sees the topic of eating horse meat as makruh (discouraged), while the Shafi’i, Maliki, & Hanbali schools of thought see it as permissible.

However, it is important to note even within the Hanafi school, horse milk is not haram (forbidden). Whilst drinking milk is less invasive and does not involve the killing of the animal, it is usually treated more leniently than the issue of the meat itself.
The important elements to consider for Halal status are the cleanliness of the animal, its treatment, & the absence of any contamination from haram substances during processing or storage.

If the horse milk is sourced & processed in a clean, ethical way, & no haram additives are used in the process, it remains Halal.
