There are approximately 1465 McDonalds Outlets in the UK as of July 2025.

We Checked The McDonalds Website To See If They Serve Halal Food In Their UK Stores. The Website Stated:

“Why doesn’t McDonald’s offer Halal food?

May 21, 2018

We have, in fact, conducted a Halal trial in a restaurant in Southall. We learnt that Halal certified food is popular with only a very small percentage of our customers, and to offer it in all our restaurants would require significant changes to our kitchen procedures and supply chain. As a result, we decided against offering Halal food in the U.K. for the time being.”

Therefore McDonalds in the UK is not Halal certified, although they may serve foods such as the Fillet-O-Fish which may be generally Halal. Other burgers such as cheese burger are most definitely Haram in Britain.
