Liverpool FC’s Mohammed Salah Crowned PFA Player of the Year

Egyptian football maestro wins the esteem PFA Player Of The Year Award. The award was granted to the Liverpool FC star for his amazing season and contribution to the premiership during 2017 and 2018. Mohammed has become a star at the Merseyside English football club in a small period of time and won the hearts of the fans.

The former Chelsea player rose above the competition from Manchester City’s premiership champions Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Leroy Sane with Manchester Utd goalkeeper David de Gea and Tottenham forward Harry Kane making up the six-man shortlist of those players nominated by fellow footballers.

Mohammed Salah Ghaly was born on the 15th of June in 1992 in Egypt. He plays for the Egyptian national team on the world stage and has become a legend at his current club Liverpool FC. Mohammed Salah earlier began his football journey playing for El Mokawloon football club in Egypt 8 years ago. He later joined Basel, where he won league and the prestigious SAFP Golden Player Award. He joined Chelsea for £11 million four years ago but didn’t feature much at the club. He was able to secure a loan agreement to play for Italian football clubs Fiorentina and Rome. He was signed and bought by Rome for 15 Million Euros. Mohammed Salah then moved to Liverpool FC for a fee of £36.9 million in 2017.
