The Story:
“Established in 2008 with our first branch in Leicester City Centre, Toro’s Steakhouse truly is the UK’s original Halal Steakhouse pioneering the way for the industry we see today.
Our mission is the same today as it was when we began – an exciting dining experience focused on quality taste, quality products and the best comfortable experience within our locations.
From sourcing fresh local produce, finding the finest cuts of meat, creating the perfect ambiance in our restaurants, and working with the best in the industry, Toro’s Steakhouse ensures we only serve the juiciest, flavoursome food on your plate.
Toro’s Steakhouse has built our reputation on using nothing but the highest quality produce, cooked perfectly and served in casually splendid surroundings. We specialise in sourcing and preparing the perfect products doing things professionally with the aim of creating a relaxingly elegant British steakhouse atmosphere. At Toro’s Steakhouse, we believe every meal should be a celebration. Open for brunch and dinner seven days a week, you can find us across the UK from Liverpool to London.

“Laraib was welcoming and attentive. The kids appreciated the colouring in to do, kept them busy! The restaurant has great ambience and the decor is lovely too. The staff are all friendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our t-bone steak and pulled beef burger. The steak was well done, just as we had requested and was served beautifully with generous portions of sides. The pulled beef burger was delicious.
The kids enjoyed their meals too. Thank you for a great dining experience.

“Ordered food on just eat this evening really excited to try the halloumi burger,
So disappointed it’s unreal,
I rang the restaurant at 9.20pm to check on where my order was, to be told the food was ready waiting to go, and the delivery driver was 4 minutes away,
When food hadn’t showed up at 9.55pm I rang the restaurant back, only to be told that the delivery driver was another 13 minutes away from the restaurant,
I understand that some fault is the delivery drivers cancelling however the restaurant need to take some responsibility too,
When a customer is ringing already upset with waiting times they should’ve communicated better and contacted me to let me know what was happening,
As the food was ready at 9.20pm the restaurant were just waiting to send it but that means that the food has been sat there 40 minutes already and was going to take another 35 minutes to get to my house,
Meaning the food would’ve been stone cold,
Not happy at all,
So unfortunately I haven’t eaten this evening due to miss communication from the restaurant and poor efforts from delivery drivers.
Won’t be making the mistake of ordering from here again.”

“The food was decent, worth what you’re paying. Starters are massive portions which is good. Don’t get the spicy rice as a side, it tastes like cardboard. The staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations, especially a young lady called Umaima.

“Toros Steakhouse is a real gem. The food was absolutely delicious, with the beef ribs standing out as a highlight—tender and full of flavor. Service was quick, and even though the place was packed, they managed to seat us without a booking, which was impressive. The portions were generous, and the prices were fair, making it feel like great value. Just a heads-up—they only accept bank transfers or cash, but it’s a small trade-off for such a great meal. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d love to come back. Definitely worth a visit!

“I would give 0 star of i could…dirty table and cutlery, even replacement cutlery was dirty. Service was mid at best. Then we get to the worst part. The food was atrocious…mash was microwaved and dry and bland, the rustic chips were overcooked and tasted like cardboard….the steak was just thrown on top of a mess of food, had to try navigate to eat the food, constantly have to move the steak to be able to eat the food….now the steak was the worst I have ever had…I asked for medium and got it well done, thin cut so no chance of having it medium. No butter basting to give extra flavour and juiciness, the t bone steak was like a cows tongue, dry bland and taste less……STAY AWAY IF YOU KNOW GOOD FOOD HOW TO EAT GOOD FOOD.

Unfortunately some of the customers thought it was acceptable to change a babies dirty nappy right at the side of us eating.

“I had heard so much about this place and today decided to try it out i was left very disappointed. We waited to be seated for 20 minutes although the restaurant was empty, when seated we gave order we ordered porterhouse steak a platter and mojitos. After 5 mins a young lady returned and said we don’t have porterhouse steak so we ordered whole chicken. After 15 mins a young lad came and said sorry we lost your order can you please repeat your order I was cross but thought their young working hard 20 mins later the food arrived cold as ice waited another 10 mins no sign of mojitos my husband then asked the waiters where our drinks were the waiter said did you order drinks at this point I was getting annoyed my husband said yes we did 3 mojitos we finished our food and the drinks arrived in cheap poundland glasses nothing like what is in their pics my husband asked for mango mojito was served pina colada I was fuming I didn’t eat nothing I was so angry I then asked one of the girls if I could get a cup for my mojito she said il do it for you it took her 15 mins. I left the restaurant angry humiliated and without the food and drink…. never gonna go back please avoid this restaurant all college kids are waiters too busy messing about….

The Food is on Point.
Highly Recommend The Special Toros Steak. I asked for Medium Rare and it was Beautiful. The Haloumi Fries were Exquisite especially with The Tamarind Infused Sauce
