What does the funding cover?

The scheme allows employers to employ young people aged between 16-24 who are on Universal Credit. The company also gets £1500 grant per placement taken on. HI provide wrap around and employability support at a charge of 50% of the grant per placement. This money is to help provide employability support for people on placement i.e. support with personal development.  

A Gateway can help your company submit an application to the Department For Work & Pensions (DWP). An application can be submitted by a Gateway on behalf of an employer at any time.
