Wythenshawe Park in Manchester hosted a Kickstart fair at the end of June

On Friday June 25th, UK Gov Kickstart scheme national gateway Halal Incorp attended the kickstart scheme fair. The open air event took place in accordance with UK Gov Covid guidelines. There were multiple businesses exhibiting at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester.

Working For Halal Incorp Consultancy 

The Halal Incorp staff team also took part and met a number of young people who were looking for Kickstart vacancies and placements. The outdoor event was one of the first to take place in the UK. As Covid guidelines were still present an outdoor venue was chosen to invite employers of all sizes to participate and meet new potential recruits. It also allowed for the opportunity of networking to take place between different companies and staff.

Kickstart placements list for six months. The trainees are paid National Minimum Wage, over 25 hours a week.

Halal incorp worked closely with the Department for Work and Pensions staff members, job coaches, and employment advisors based at Hulme job centre in Manchester.
